FAQ

As a pure contract manufacturer, we see our competence in the production of high-quality instruments. With almost seventy years of experience in the manufacture of premium instruments, we have gained extensive know-how and an excellent reputation as a producer. The production and QM processes required for this are of course our responsibility. We also fulfil all documentation requirements for our products and processes.

Our customers, who act as distributors, distribute our products worldwide.

It is the responsibility of the distributor to prepare instructions for use. We can only support our customers in an advisory capacity.

We will be happy to send you the respective currently valid ISO 13485 certificate in either German or English on request. We have deliberately decided not to publish the certificate on our website.

Yes, for an appropriate fixed charge per instrument we can laser mark any instrument for you. The amount of this fixed charge depends on the complexity for the marking. The marking is always done according to customer specification. Marking with our company name is not possible.

For new customers, we initially require payment in advance. Payment of the pre-invoice must be made within 10 days.

Yes, because we can only show part of our entire product range in our product information. In addition to the standard products shown, we also produce instruments directly at the customer's request. Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time for enquiries of this type. We will be happy to advise you and show you what is possible and feasible. In general, it should be noted that modifying an existing article is much easier than developing a completely new product.

The chemical composition of the coating is AlTiN (aluminium-titanium nitrite). The coating process is called Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD). This is a vacuum coating process that is performed using the arc evaporation method. This coating is biocompatible and provides very good antimicrobial surface properties.

We see the advantages of the coating as being glare-free and higher resistance. In addition, the coating is abrasion-resistant and wear-resistant.

Please contact us for further information about coating.

Different characteristics can always be combined with each other:

1. Handle

Punches can be manufactured with a small handle, large handle, TAP handle (detachable), small smart handle (silicone), smart handle (silicone) or as a rotating punching system.

2. Shaft length

Our shaft lengths are: 18 cm, 20 cm, 23 cm, 25 cm, 28 cm, 30 cm and 40 cm. However, we can produce any shaft length on request. Please note that the working length is always measured for bayonet-shaped instruments while the entire shaft length is always stated for instruments with a straight shaft.

3. Cutting angle

We provide punches with cutting angles of 40° and 90°.

4. Cutting direction

We provide upward and downward cutting punches.

5. Ejector

We provide punches with normal Kerrison jaws (without ejector), with pin ejector and with top ejector.

7. Shaft types

In addition to straight shafts, there is a series of special shaft types, e.g. bayonet shafts or foraminotomy shafts (curved).

8. Coating

As an alternative to the bare metal instruments, we provide a black coating for all instruments. See the previous point for further information about this coating.

Because the characteristics can be combined almost freely, the number of possible combinations is very high. Please contact us if the model you require is not available in the product information. We will be happy to check the feasibility.
